Getting Started with Amanah

Welcome to Amanah! This guide will walk you through the process of setting up and using your Amanah account, from registration to making your first transfer.

Creating Your Account

Getting started with Amanah is simple and takes just a few minutes:

1. Download the App

   • Visit the App Store or Google Play Store
   • Search for "Amanah Banking"
   • Download and install the application

2. Register with Google

   • Open the Amanah app
   • Tap "Sign up with Google"
   • Select your Google account
   • Our OAuth integration will handle the rest

3. Verify Your Phone Number

   • Enter your phone number
   • Receive a verification code via SMS
   • Enter the code in the app
   • This phone number becomes your base identity in the system

4. Set Up Your Profile

   • Add your name and other details
   • Review and accept the terms of service
   • Complete any additional verification steps

Understanding Your Account

Once you've created your account, you'll have access to your self-custodial wallet:

• Your account is automatically created during registration
• Only you have access to your funds - Amanah cannot access or control them
• You can create multiple virtual accounts for different purposes
• All transactions are recorded on the Solana blockchain for security and transparency

Adding Funds to Your Account

There are several ways to add funds to your Amanah account:

1. Go to the "Deposit" section
2. Select "zkp2p"
3. Choose your preferred payment method (Venmo, CashApp, etc.)
4. Follow the prompts to complete your deposit

Coinbase

If you have a Coinbase account, you can easily transfer funds:

1. Go to the "Deposit" section
2. Select "Coinbase"
3. Connect your Coinbase account
4. Select the amount and complete the transfer using your linked cards

Making Your First Transfer

Sending to Registered Users

1. Go to the "Send" section
2. Enter the recipient's username or select from your contacts
3. Enter the amount
4. Review and confirm the transaction

Sending to Unregistered Users

1. Go to the "Send" section
2. Select "Send via Phone Number"
3. Enter the recipient's phone number
4. Enter the amount
5. Review and confirm the transaction
6. The recipient will receive an SMS with instructions to claim their funds

Managing Your Account

Viewing Your Transaction History

1. Go to the "Activity" section
2. View a list of all your transactions
3. Tap on any transaction for more details

Setting Up Regular Transfers

1. Go to the "Transfers" section
2. Select "Scheduled Transfers"
3. Follow the prompts to set up a recurring transfer

Calculating and Paying Zakat

1. Go to the "Zakat" section
2. The system will automatically calculate your Zakat based on your holdings
3. Select recipients for your Zakat
4. Confirm and complete the payment
